Alternative displays for AVMs on MAC

Hi,

I has been a while that I worked with the LKB. I try to check what the ERG does and because of the diff lists one always gets huge AVMs even if one just looks at a single node of a tree. I know that delphin is a huge thing with lots of components by now. So question: Is there some external additional tool that one can plug in to display avms a bit more readable. With tags expandable and so on?

Thanks!

Best

Stefan

PS: Currently I try to find out how scopal modification is done. The description in the MRS paper p. 308 does not seem to work. The ERG seems to specifiy the local value of the modified head in MOD as of type intersect_mod or scopal_mod.

Maybe this is described somewhere else in print.

Hi @Stefan

Are you using LUI to display AVMs? LUI displays them in a more compact and understandable format than the LKB default. Please see the paragraph starting LKB-FOS supports the Linguistic User Interface (LUI) in the LkbFos webpage.

I’m afraid I can’t answer your scopal modification query. I suggest you make a separate posting to this site tagged with the topic ERG.
